Position Overview
The QEHS Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment while maintaining compliance with RCRA and OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality, environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with RCRA and OSHA regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on QEHS performance metrics and compliance status.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a QEHS role with a strong understanding of RCRA and OSHA regulations.
- Certification in Environmental Health & Safety preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
