Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement PLC/HMI/SCADA systems using Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) and Wonderware platforms.
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC (RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000), HMI, and SCADA systems to improve process efficiency and reliability.
- Work with Cognex vision systems for machine vision inspection, barcode reading, and quality control.
- Develop and integrate industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFINET, etc.) for seamless communication between automation devices.
- Perform on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and support to ensure successful system deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to design and implement automated solutions.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including electrical schematics, control logic flowcharts, and operational manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration.
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), Wonderware System Platform, and Cognex vision systems.
- Strong understanding of HMI/SCADA design, industrial communication protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with robotic integration, motion control, or MES solutions is a plus.
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics and P&IDs.
- Willingness to travel for project installations and support as needed.
