Job Location: Baton Rouge, LA Monroe, LA (Two Openings)
Base Salary: $110K-$150K
Requirements: 5 years of experience as a Superintendent experience on heavy civil construction projects. Experience with Public/Municipal, Industrial, Airport, and/or Marine projects strongly preferred.
Position Overview:
The Civil Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites and ensure project timelines are met.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors and subcontractors involved in civil construction projects.
- Plan and schedule project activities, including earthwork, grading, and utility installation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines on site.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including public and industrial clients.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and progress updates.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Experience with earthwork, grading, and utilities installation.
- Familiarity with public, industrial, and marine construction projects.
