We are now seeking a skilled Municipal Infrastructure Civil Project Engineer to organize, plan and control municipal infrastructure project activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic design and civil engineering, particularly within water and wastewater systems, and will be responsible for ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Municipal Infrastructure Civil Project Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for the planning, design, and execution of various municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a focus on roadway, stormwater, water, and sewer systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, stormwater management, and utility systems.
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct site planning and assessments to determine project feasibility and requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Perform quality control checks on project plans and constructions to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; Engineer in Training (EIT) certification acceptable.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Familiarity with water/WW, stormwater, sewer and roadway projects.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards, codes and regulations.
• Experience in quality control and assurance for civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrated experience in project engineering within the municipal infrastructure sector.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
