We are seeking a dedicated Informatics Business Analyst to join our team remotely. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the healthcare sector, ensuring that data-driven decisions are informed and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to healthcare informatics.
- Develop and document functional specifications, use cases, and process flows for new systems and enhancements.
- Facilitate SCRUM meetings and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and validate outputs against requirements.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes, using SQL and PostgreSQL as necessary.
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement through the implementation of technology and data solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of SCRUM and Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, ERISA, and ADA.
- Experience with health data management, EDI standards, and third-party administration (TPA) processes is a plus.

- Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL for data analysis and reporting.
