Job Title: Automation Engineer (Robotics and Vision)

Location: Edinburgh, IN on-site

Salary: $75k-$85k /yr DOE

Requirements: BS in Engineering, Automation or related field, Hands-on experience with Universal Robots (UR), COBOTs, Machine Vision Integration, PLC's, Industrial Automation

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with hands-on experience programming Universal Robots (UR cobots) and integrating machine vision systems in a manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Program, optimize, and support Universal Robots (collaborative robots)
• Install and integrate robots into production lines
• Troubleshoot automation issues and perform routine robot maintenance
• Integrate machine vision systems for inspection and quality control
• Improve automation efficiency and uptime on the production floor
• Create documentation and train operators and maintenance teams
• Ensure all robotics systems meet safety standards
• Manage automation-related parts inventory and BOMs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Engineering Technology or Control Systems Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Universal Robots (UR)
• Experience with collaborative robots (cobots)
• Machine vision system integration experience
• Familiarity with PLCs and industrial automation systems
• Programming experience (Python, C , or robot programming languages)
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

• PLC programming experience
• 3D CAD or robot simulation experience
• Continuous improvement or process optimization experience
