Associate Attorney - Workers Compensation
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Attorney specialized in Workers Compensation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in representing clients in workers' compensation claims, ensuring they receive the benefits they are entitled to while upholding the highest standards of legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including petitions, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients at mediation and administrative hearings
- Provide clients with legal advice regarding their rights and options
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and strategy development
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation law and regulations
- Participate in client meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state
- Experience in workers' compensation law is preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Litigation experience is a plus
- Competitive salary: $100,000-$135,000 depending on experience
