Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in scalable system design, distributed architectures, and identity domain technologies. In this role, you will architect and evolve core components of our platform to operate reliably at massive scale. You will collaborate closely across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to ensure the platform meets future demand while upholding the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance. 

This role requires a strong technical contributor who is hands-on, proactive, and energized by solving complex scalability challenges. You will design, prototype, and build software solutions, improve system performance, and adapt our platform to evolving business and customer needs. 

Responsibilities: 

• Architect, design, and implement highly scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems that support rapid growth and evolving business requirements. 

• Own the full technical execution of complex initiatives, delivering high-quality, maintainable, and scalable solutions. 

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to evaluate feature requests and translate them into scalable system designs. 

• Prototype, design, and implement new software components and platform capabilities. 

• Participate in continuous, iterative engineering cycles with strong emphasis on code quality, supportability, performance, and scalability. 

• Apply test-driven development and automation throughout design and implementation to ensure quality and reliability. 

• Diagnose and resolve complex product issues discovered internally or in customer deployments. 

• Partner with Support teams to manage customer escalations and ensure timely resolution. 

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping develop their technical expertise and execution capabilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 
• 5 years of hands-on software development experience, preferably building large-scale cloud or enterprise applications. 
• 2 years of engineering experience in Identity, IDaaS, SaaS security, or authentication systems. 
• Deep expertise in designing and developing systems using .NET technologies 
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. 
• Expertise building and integrating web services (REST, SOAP). 
• Experience working with Active Directory or similar directory services is a plus. 
• Strong knowledge of databases and caching technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis). 
• Familiarity with authentication and identity standards—SAML, WS-Fed, OpenID Connect, OAuth—is highly desirable. 
• Solid understanding of security and networking fundamentals and best practices. 
• Experience in system performance analysis, including profiling, tracing, load testing, and capacity modeling, is a plus. 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.

The salary range for this position is $116,000 – $170,000/year, plus discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
