Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Backend .NET Engineer who thrives on solving hard, distributed-systems problems: scaling authentication flows, building fault-tolerant services, reducing latency, improving throughput, and modernizing core platform architecture.

What you’ll work on:

• Architect and build distributed backend services in .NET

• Evolve identity-platform components powering global enterprise workloads

• Optimize performance, stability, and scalability across services

• Design and build new capabilities using modern patterns and cloud-native practices

• Lead deep debugging, profiling, load analysis, and system-level investigation

• Collaborate with platform, product, and cloud teams to shape architecture direction

• Mentor and up-level engineers around you

Qualifications

What you bring:

• 5 years backend development with .NET in enterprise or large-scale systems

• Cloud experience (AWS or GCP preferred)

• Understanding of distributed systems concepts (caching, resiliency, failover, async patterns, load balancing)

• Experience with identity/auth standards (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, WS-Fed)

• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs

Nice to have (not required):

Active Directory experience, performance engineering, or experience in identity/security environments.

Work Model:
Hybrid (2–3 days/week onsite) — Santa Clara, CA
Relocation is not available at this time.

The salary range for this position is $116,000 – $170,000/year, plus discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
