SUMMARY:

  • A Director of Production is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production process of Cyber Technology Group establishing and ensuring the highest standards in efficiency, accuracy, productivity, organization and employee development. With primary responsibilities tied to the direction and support of the company’s Teams (PM's, Phase Mgrs, Techs), scheduling, installation and deployment of specified projects, they are also expected to communicate and lead across all aspects of the business.

  • It's a management role and hours will not be limited to 40hrs/wk

Your Contribution to Cyber:

  • Operational Leadership & Execution - Direct all aspects of in-office and on-site project execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to Cyber’s quality standards. Proactively identify and mitigate project and operational risks.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement - Evaluate, refine, and standardize production workflows, tools, and communication methods to drive performance and consistency across all projects. Analyze performance data, solicit feedback, and lead initiatives that strengthen efficiency, quality, and employee engagement across the department.
  • Financial Stewardship - Manage departmental budgets, control labor and material costs, and provide accurate forecasting that informs departmental and executive decision making. Ensure timely execution of financial activities, including invoicing, order placement, change order management, and collections support.
  • Resource & Capacity Planning - Oversee labor allocation, scheduling, and workload balancing across multiple projects, optimizing resource utilization. Ensure the department remains adequately staffed, trained, and equipped for current and forecasted demand.
  • Team Development & Retention - Build and mentor a high-performing team through coaching, clear expectations, accountability, and professional development opportunities. Foster a culture where employees take pride in their work, uphold a standard of excellence, continually develop their technical and leadership skills, and feel valued, supported, and connected to the company’s long-term success as employee-owners.
  • Project Management & Risk Management - Maintain proactive project management best practices that anticipate obstacles, resolve issues early, and consistently deliver efficient forward momentum on projects.
  • Communication & Interdepartmental Collaboration - Partner closely with all departments - Sales, Design, Operations, Client Services & Accounting - employing open communication and mutual accountability to ensure coordinated collaboration and execution across all project stages and smooth handoffs at transitions. Translate departmental performance, challenges, and opportunities into clear, data-driven insights, presenting them in a compelling, solution-oriented manner.
  • Client Experience & Quality Assurance - Uphold and strengthen Cyber’s reputation for reliability and service excellence through rigorous quality control, smooth project delivery and execution, and delivering high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of demonstrated success leading teams in a fast-paced, multi-project setting with measurable operational and financial impact.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in production, construction, project management, or contracting.
  • Leadership style rooted in transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Proven ability to create, implement, and manage standardized operational processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of department and project financials, forecasting, and cost control practices.
  • Skilled communicator and confident presenter, capable of effectively conveying complex ideas and data.
  • Resourceful problem solver. Able to research issues and find solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Proficiency with ERP/project management systems and standard business software.
  • Actively demonstrates interest in the industry by continuously developing knowledge and practical understanding of residential low-voltage and electrical systems, essential for ongoing success in this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred:

  • Custom residential construction familiarity.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Prior experience with residential low voltage & electrical systems: Audio/Video, Control Systems, Shading, Lighting Control, Security, Surveillance, Access Control, Networking, etc.

Cyber's Contribution to You:

  • Base Pay: $120k/yr
  • Annual Bonus (Up to 25%): $30k
  • Total Comp: $120k to $150k
