Time Off Plan: 25 days PTO during the school year, MLK Day, Presidents’ Day, Spring Break, Memorial Day, Week of July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Wed-Fri), Winter Break (Dec 24 - Jan 1)
The Enrollment & Compliance Supervisor serves both of the schools at the Heron Institute and is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of student enrollment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to all compliance requirements. This role manages complex enrollment scenarios—including foster care, microschool placements, reinstatements, and out-of-state withdrawals—while ensuring all documentation and student records meet regulatory standards.
The supervisor serves as a key point of coordination across teams, providing guidance and support to Enrollment Coordinators, monitoring daily approvals, and acting as the first level of escalation for enrollment-related issues. They also lead communication efforts with internal stakeholders and external partners, including participation in enrollment calls and partnership discussions.
In addition, this position plays a leadership role in planning and executing re-registration processes, training enrollment staff, and managing tracking systems to support enrollment goals. The supervisor ensures consistent compliance practices, supports student retention efforts, and contributes to continuous improvement of enrollment operations.

- Oversee and manage student enrollment adjustments, including start dates and reinstatements, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to support enrollment operations and resolve issues efficiently
- Manage specialized enrollment processes from initial request through final approval, ensuring all required documentation and compliance standards are met
- Support and monitor student mass withdrawal processes connected to re registration, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and adherence to policies
- Review and approve enrollment systems and processes while providing guidance and support to team members
- Serve as the first point of escalation for enrollment-related concerns, resolving issues or elevating as needed
- Collaborate across departments and schools to support enrollment initiatives and program expansion efforts
- Participate in meetings and planning sessions related to enrollment operations and partnerships, including occasional on-site support
- Assist in the development and implementation of enrollment and re-registration processes, including staff training and resource creation
- Track progress toward enrollment goals, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement efforts
- Support seasonal enrollment activities, including re-registration and withdrawal confirmations
- High school diploma
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Strong technology skills
- Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
- Proficient in MS Excel, MSWord, and Outlook
- Ability to clear required background check
- Previous experience with administering state assessments
- Previous experience in a virtual education setting
