Agentic AI Developer
W2 Contracts
Location: Phoenix AZ
- Hands-on role involving architecture, production coding, technical reviews, and complex system design decisions.
- Drive technical direction for Agentic AI initiatives including autonomy, scalability, reliability, safety, and system architecture.
- Design, build, and operate production-grade Agentic AI systems across multiple products.
- Own and enhance:
- Agent frameworks & orchestration layers
- RAG pipelines
- Planning, memory, and tool-use strategies
- LLM infrastructure, inference, and model gateways
- Evaluation, observability, and safety tooling
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver enterprise-scale AI solutions.
- Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across teams.
Required Technical Skills
- Languages: Python, TypeScript, Go
- APIs & Services: REST, gRPC
- Cloud/Infra: AWS/Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes
- Distributed Systems: Kafka, event-driven architectures
- Frameworks: LangGraph, LangChain, Airflow, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI
- AI/ML: RAG, Agentic AI, LLM integration, embeddings, fine-tuning, inference tooling
- ML Stack: PyTorch, Hugging Face, TensorFlow exposure
- Validation/State Management: Pydantic, Zod
Required Experience
- 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong experience with LLM systems, Agentic AI workflows, and ML infrastructure.
- Strong backend engineering, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipeline experience.
- Experience with workflow engines, async processing, queues, and streaming systems.
- Experience building reliable autonomous AI systems in enterprise environments.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and influence teams without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fintech or regulated industries.
- Experience as founding engineer or technical leader in AI products.
- Experience contributing to open-source AI/agentic frameworks.
- Familiarity with model optimization and inference pipelines.
