It has a lot of potential for growth, but about 2 hours weekly to start. -Ideal availability would be not all, but sometime between 9a-2p. -Senior Living -1:1s and small groups -Continuing education opportunities available. The Fitness Specialist opportunity entails the following: Patient continuity: Patients are prescribed exercise programs to maintain functional levels after discharge from rehabilitation services. Excellent support system: Fox provides significant support for our Fitness Specialists through leadership, clinical education, and an assigned Program Manager. Requirements: Must have one of the following: Bachelors in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology; Certified Personal Trainer through a nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred (i.e., ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA); or prior experience as a fitness trainer, with willingness to become a Certified Personal Trainer Routine travel to patient residences and between Senior Living Communities. Expand territory as needed. Travel as needed per practice requirements. CPR Certification Previous experience working with older adults in a proactive and wellness setting preferred.
