Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take on a leadership role within a multidisciplinary engineering team. This position involves leading projects from concept through construction, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Job Type: Full-Time | Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects from concept through construction completion
• Manage project teams, schedules, and technical deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
• Provide technical leadership and ensure engineering excellence
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across various project types
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Strong expertise in mechanical systems (HVAC, building systems, etc.)
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion
• Leadership experience with team supervision and mentoring
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – Required (non-negotiable)
• 10 years of experience in an A/E consulting environment

Salary : $135,000 - $185,000
