What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing & Inventory Ctrl Specialist position at CWS?
Job Responsibilities:
- Process, order, and track E-requisitions
- Upload approved price lists into the AS400, including the formatting data
- Audit MRO, MSP, and RESALE parts for accuracy
- Support the MRO stock room during scheduled absences and vacations
- Create and Review material hold flags based on inventory status and delivery information
- Perform inventory transaction audits
- Identify received inventory from import containers to verify part numbers and quantity
- Create and manage material hold rules
- Oversee Unified Workflow Process relative to part set up and other inventory related system requests
- Support month-end/year-end inventory and assist outside auditors
- Create inventory replenishment orders
- Use material handling equipment to store and transfer materials between storage locations.
Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree highly preferred, or 2 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum 2 years safe forklift operation experience
- Knowledge of the AS400 system preferred
- Good analytical skills
- Organized, detail oriented, and the willingness to take initiative to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
