Duties
- Assist in developing personalized financial plans tailored to client needs, including estate planning, tax strategies, and investment management
- Support senior advisors in managing client portfolios and conducting financial analysis to optimize asset allocation
- Prepare and present financial reports, including cash flow analysis, risk assessments, and performance reviews
- Conduct research on market trends, securities law updates, and new financial products to inform client recommendations
- Maintain accurate client records using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and financial software
- Facilitate client meetings by providing detailed explanations of financial concepts such as wills, trusts, estate law, and securities regulations
- Assist in the execution of trades and transactions within compliance guidelines
- Support business development efforts through prospecting activities and participating in sales initiatives related to wealth management services
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to securities law, public accounting standards, and corporate accounting practices
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced certifications such as CFP or CFA are a plus
- Prior experience or internship in financial services, wealth management, or investment advisory roles preferred
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including investment management, cash management, and portfolio management
- Knowledge of estate planning tools such as wills and trusts, as well as tax law implications for high-net-worth clients
- Familiarity with financial analysis techniques and the use of financial software platforms
- Excellent math skills with the ability to interpret complex data and perform detailed calculations
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and technical accounting practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and professionally to clients and team members
