Courier Service/ Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety on the road. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload vans ensuring safe handling of products.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, and organization of goods.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activity throughout the day.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
