We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products reach our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload vans ensuring safe handling of products.
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, and organization of goods.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and receipts.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activity throughout the day.
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
