Full Time Escrow Assistant

CW Title & Escrow, the largest title and escrow company headquartered in Washington, is seeking an Escrow Assistant to our thriving Tacoma office. Join the exciting Real Estate industry and get experience in multiple facets of this fast-paced world. The successful candidate will provide assistance and support to an energetic escrow closer. Our company is looking for enthusiastic individuals, who will then get in depth training and a chance to work with dedicated and experienced team members.

The qualified candidate will possess some or all of the following:

• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail, must be able to multitask
• Warmth and empathy to clients calling in
• Strong computer skills and able to learn internal computer programs quickly
• Strong communication skills
• Bi- or multi-lingual is a plus
• At least two years of escrow experience is required

The day-to-day specifics:

• Full-time position 40hrs/week, 8am-5pm
• Review Purchase and Sale Agreements
• Coordinate the earnest money deposit with the buyers and release with the sellers
• Answer phone calls regarding the Escrow and Closing process
• Process escrow files including title clearing
• Schedule signings and coordinate notaries and provide detailed instructions for funds to close
• Prepare funding packages to send back to the lender
• Help with disbursements, prepared local and national courier packages, and sending out wires

We provide exceptional title services for Chelan, Douglas, King, Okanogan, Pierce, Snohomish, Spokane, Thurston, and Whatcom counties and we work with our affiliates to service title needs in other counties. In addition, we’re able to offer escrow services for all counties in the State of Washington. While we utilize six large, national underwriting companies, our decisions are made locally here in Washington. Our in-house underwriting, legal counsel, title examiners, and escrow teams are experts in the local communities that we serve. Our vast, local experience and passion for this industry allow us to overcome challenges that may arise from difficult title and escrow issues. Our local expertise allows our clients to efficiently move from under agreement to closing.

• Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F, onsite in Tacoma, WA
• Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year DOE
