What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Utility Attendant/Dishwasher - Williamsburg Inn position at CW Talent?
Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week.
Upon completion of the probationary period, you could become benefit eligible.
Main Duties:
- Must be available to work all schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Follow a strict sanitation policy.
- Prior experience performing heavy cleaning, preferably in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must maintain Expectations listed below
- Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a current Williamsburg James City County Food Handlers Card; applicants with an active Food Handlers Card should be prepared to present the Card during the interview process.
- Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to lift, handle and transport up to 100 pounds as necessary;
- Carrying heavy objects up and down stairs;
- Bending, stooping, lifting;
- Working while standing for long periods of time;
- Working at a fast pace for several hours at a time;
- Working at heights over 6 feet
Required:
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen using industrial dishwashing equipment
- Must possess a valid Commonwealth of Virginia driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record as measured against Colonial Williamsburg’s criteria.
This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
