Upon being hired for this position, you will enter a Probationary status, working up to 40 hours per week.

Essential Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with five-star hospitality and courtesy standards.
- Oversees seating/server rotation when seating guests.
- Verifies and makes reservations via open table.
- Maintains a waiting list when necessary.
- Performs other duties as required to exceed guests’ expectations in a five-star dining environment.
Requirements:
- 6 months to one year of food service or restaurant experience.
- Previous host/hostess and open table experience in a five-star restaurant is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellent public contact skills
- Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to: (1) interact effectively with guests, employees and supervisors; (2) maintain standards listed below
- In accordance with child labor laws, applicants must be 16 years of age in order to work various schedules

This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
