Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and ensure the successful completion of electrical projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in understanding electrical installations, project management, and team leadership, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Strategically implement and track project milestones, ensuring timely progress and adherence to budgets.

Team Management:

• Lead and manage the electrical project team by assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and motivate team members.

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Conduct quality control inspections and tests on project deliverables, ensuring all electrical installations and systems meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement best practices and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status to senior management, including progress updates, budget adherence, and identification of any issues or delays.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Problem Solving:

• Identify potential obstacles or risks, and proactively develop solutions to mitigate issues and keep the project on track.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical project management, including planning, execution, and completion of projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry best practices.
• Ability to manage heavy industrial level projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to travel to job sites for project reviews and meetings.
