- Location: New Britain, CT
- Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Receive, unload, and move incoming materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, reporting any issues you find.
- Match materials to packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders, recording everything accurately in our WMS.
- Label, organize, and store materials based on product type, lot number, and storage requirements.
- Monitor expiration dates and quality, ensuring only compliant materials make it into production.
- Move materials from receiving to storage or production staging areas efficiently.
- Support production by delivering materials to workstations on time.
- Assist with inventory control, including FIFO rotation, cycle counts, and audits.
- Replenish warehouse and production inventory to keep operations running smoothly.
- Prepare and stage materials for internal transfers and outbound shipments.
- Execute shipping tasks such as scanning, labeling, documentation, and loading.
- Assist with returns by identifying, documenting, and coordinating disposition.
- Communicate delivery delays or issues to leadership promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Participate in required training and maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or reach trucks.
- Ability to read and interpret packing slips, bills of lading, purchase orders, and product labels.

- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, material‑handling procedures, and inventory‑control principles.
- Familiarity with WMS systems, handheld scanners, or similar tools.

- Lifting: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Occasional handling of heavier items may be required with proper assistance, lifting devices, or team‑lift procedures.
- Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and maneuvering throughout the warehouse for the full duration of the shift. Must be able to navigate aisles, storage areas, and production spaces safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Capability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material‑handling equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards. Must maintain awareness of surroundings while operating equipment in active warehouse areas.
- Manual Dexterity: Regular use of hands, wrists, and arms for tasks such as scanning barcodes, labeling materials, stacking products, and performing detailed handling of inventory items.
- Climbing: Ability to climb ladders, step stools, or access elevated storage locations as needed, while maintaining proper balance and adhering to safety protocols.
- Environmental Conditions: Work performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures, varying noise levels, dust, packaging debris, and frequent movement of equipment and personnel. May occasionally work near loading docks or outdoor areas.
- PPE Requirements: Ability to wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety shoes, gloves, high‑visibility apparel, and other protective gear as dictated by task or environment.
- Situational Awareness: Ability to remain alert and attentive in a fast‑paced operational setting with continuous equipment traffic, material movement, and changing priorities. Must consistently follow safety procedures and maintain awareness of potential hazards.
- Endurance: Capacity to perform repetitive physical tasks, maintain productivity, and sustain focus throughout the shift, including during periods of high activity or extended standing and movement.
