We are seeking an experienced Alterations Tailor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform hemming, sleeve alterations, waist adjustments, taking in/letting out, resizing, and garment repairs.
- Measure garments accurately and execute alterations to precise specifications.
- Operate industrial and standard sewing machines, as well as hand-sewing equipment.
- Press and finish garments to a professional standard.
- Work efficiently on multiple alteration orders and production deadlines.
- Inspect completed garments for quality, stitching, fit, and finish.
- Handle a variety of fabrics and men's and women's garments.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and productive work area.
Requirements
- Proven professional tailoring/alterations experience.
- Strong sewing and garment-construction skills.
