Long-Term Substitute Special Educator Needed
Location: Champlain Valley Union High School
Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) is seeking an innovative, energetic, and collaborative individual to join our special education team as a Long-Term Substitute Special Educator. The anticipated start date is 03/02/2025. The assignment is expected to end on 06/16/2025. We are seeking a professional with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills who matches our passion for an integrated special education service delivery model within a multi-tiered system of supports. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in collaborative teaming (including collaborating with classroom teachers to co-design instruction), knowledge of special education rules and regulations, and a solid ability to integrate a variety of assessment information to develop intervention programs. Only certified teachers will be considered for this position.
Our Long-Term Substitute Special Educator will specifically be working with 9th grade students as part of the 9th grade team.
