Campus Supervisor Needed
Location: Champlain Valley Union High School

Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) is seeking a Campus Supervisor (1.0 FTE) to join our school team starting the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will help create a welcoming, friendly, and growth-minded environment that ensures the best educational opportunities for all students.
In this role, you will develop positive relationships with many students and work closely with the school's administrative team, teachers, and staff to provide crucial support and guidance to students who are struggling with behavioral complexities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborating with school administrators, teachers, and staff to identify students struggling with behavioral issues and helping to implement individual behavior intervention plans as instructed by house directors.
- Monitoring student progress alongside administration, maintaining accurate records of interventions, and assisting in conflict resolution and the strategic maintenance of behavioral plans.
- Monitoring hallways, common areas (cafeteria, Main Office lobby, Direction Ctr. lobby), and the lower and upper parking lots throughout the week to oversee students and adults moving in and out of the building.
- Assisting House Directors and Administrative Assistants by locating and escorting students to house offices to resolve attendance and discipline issues, as well as responding to security requests from the main office.
- Supervising the bus loading area each day after school and monitoring transitions to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicating regularly with administration, faculty/staff, and special services coordinators, while participating in ongoing coaching and training on effective behavior management strategies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience working with students with behavioral challenges and a strong working knowledge of effective behavior management strategies.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish professional rapport and work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and community partners.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a flexible approach to supporting student needs.
- Demonstrated poise, patience, and a genuine passion for working with high school students to help them succeed.
