Window Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the professional installation and replacement of windows and doors, ensuring high-quality workmanship, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires precision, physical dexterity, and the ability to work in various environments.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Installation: Install new windows, doors, and related accessories (sashes, screens, hardware) in residential and commercial properties according to specifications and blueprints.
• Preparation: Remove old windows and frames, prepare openings for new installations, and make any necessary modifications to ensure a proper fit.
• Measurement and Cutting: Accurately measure window openings and cut and fit frames and materials (wood, vinyl, aluminum) to the required specifications using hand and power tools.
• Sealing and Insulation: Ensure all installations are properly sealed and insulated to prevent leaks, drafts, and meet energy efficiency standards.
• Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and service previously installed products as needed.
• Safety and Cleanup: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and clear away leftover materials after job completion.
• Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns, provide installation solutions, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in window installation or a related construction field is required.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools and the ability to interpret blueprints and installation instructions are necessary technical skills. A strong understanding of installation techniques is also important.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy objects and work for extended periods, at heights, or in confined spaces.
• Key soft skills are attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, as is a valid driver's license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
