Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
- Lead and motivate sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets
- Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, ordering, and inventory control processes
- Train new employees on store policies, product knowledge, POS systems, and customer service standards
- Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and visual displays to maximize sales potential
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members
Requirements
- Proven supervisory or management experience within the retail industry, especially in sales team management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and bookkeeping
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development, and operational management is highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of retail math, merchandising, inventory control, purchasing, and sales management
