- Support patient service initiatives by providing clear medication information and answering patient inquiries with professionalism and compassion
- Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, inventory management, and pharmacy documentation
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and hospital protocols for medication handling and storage
- Participate in medication delivery rounds within hospital units, including critical care areas, ensuring timely and safe distribution
- Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques during compounding and preparation of sterile medications to prevent contamination
Requirements
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication management processes
- Prior experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital settings, or acute care environments is highly desirable
- Critical care experience or familiarity with IV infusion procedures is a significant advantage
