Director of People & Culture
Beaverton, OR | Onsite
$150,000–$200,000 DOE
CV Resources is partnering with a highly respected Pacific Northwest organization to identify a Director of People & Culture who is passionate about building exceptional teams while remaining deeply involved in the day-to-day business.
This is not a "sit in the boardroom" HR leadership role. We're looking for a true player/coach—someone who enjoys developing strategy but is equally excited to roll up their sleeves, solve problems, and partner closely with leaders throughout the organization.
About the Opportunity
You'll lead a talented Human Resources team while serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership across a growing multi-state organization. This role offers the opportunity to shape culture, strengthen leadership, improve processes, and influence the employee experience from the ground up.
If you're someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building scalable HR programs, and isn't afraid to jump into operational work when needed, we'd love to connect.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team, including People Business Partners and HRIS
- Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership across multiple locations
- Drive employee relations, leadership coaching, and performance management initiatives
- Develop and improve HR policies, programs, and processes that support organizational growth
- Oversee compensation strategy, workforce planning, compliance, and organizational effectiveness
- Foster an engaging, people-first culture while supporting business objectives
- Partner with leaders on complex employee issues, organizational change, and talent initiatives
- Balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution
What We're Looking For
- Previous Director of HR/People experience or an accomplished Senior HR Manager ready for the next step
- Strong employee relations and business partnership experience
- Proven ability to lead through growth and organizational change
- Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to own both strategy and execution
- Experience building and improving HR processes and programs
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree a plus
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
Why This Opportunity?
- Executive-level leadership opportunity with significant organizational impact
- Collaborative, values-driven culture
- Opportunity to shape the future of a growing organization
- Long-term career growth with an established and well-respected employer
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, generous PTO, wellness programs, professional development, and more
If you're looking for a leadership role where you can truly influence culture while staying connected to the day-to-day work that drives results, we'd love to hear from you.
