Temporary Staff Accountant / Accounting Specialist (Onsite – Lake Oswego)

CV Resources is partnering on an urgent temporary need for a full-time, onsite Staff Accountant/Accounting Specialist in Lake Oswego. This is a great opportunity to support a small, collaborative finance team within a well-established, employee-owned construction/engineering firm. The assignment is expected to last 3–4 months with an ASAP start.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of transactional and higher-level accounting work. While the role leans heavily toward Accounts Payable, there’s room to contribute to reconciliations, journal entries, and full-cycle support. A full accounting degree is not required—strong AP experience and solid Excel skills are the priority.

You’ll work onsite with a close-knit team, reporting to the Controller and partnering closely with their Financial Analyst.

• Heavy Accounts Payable processing

• Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and general accounting support

• Help streamline processes where possible

• Provide full-cycle support to a small accounting/operations team

  Required Skills

  • Strong full-cycle AP and period-close experience

  • Proficiency in Excel

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Ajera

    • Background in engineering or construction industries
