Through advocacy, community engagement, and fundraising, CUZIMATTER ensures that rescued animals receive proper care, shelter, and opportunities for adoption. Our mission is to make a tangible difference in animal lives while raising awareness of animal welfare issues within the local community. Based in the heart of Austin, TX, CUZIMATTER collaborates with passionate individuals and organizations to create lasting change for animals.
We’re recruiting volunteers to support CUZIMATTER Animal Rescue. Their mission is to raise funds to build kennels to save animals from kill shelters, abandonment, and sickness, so they can live with love and compassion.
Volunteers may also help spread education and resources connected to @aiwatchbuild.
- Help promote and share a fundraising video to grow awareness and support
- Assist with outreach messaging (social sharing, community posts, invitations)
- Support adoption events and/or fostering-related support if available
- Help recruit additional volunteers and supporters
- Optional: simple online help (posting/sharing/messaging via website contact)
- Caring and reliable
- Respectful communication
- Ability to participate flexibly (remote/online or in-person for events)

Qualifications
LOVE FOR ANIMAL'S
- Experience in Event Planning and Fundraising
- Strong skills in Communication, Public Speaking, and Relationship Management
- Knowledge of Grant Writing and Proposal Development
- Proficiency in Social Media Management and Digital Campaigns
- Creative Thinking and Problem-Solving Abilities
- Passion for animal welfare and previous experience in non-profits, fundraising, or voluntarism is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Non-Profit Management, or a related field is a plus
