A Day in the Life of an RN - Pulmonology Clinic

This RN-Clinic role involves comprehensive patient interactions, including assessment, education, and administration of medications and vaccines, ensuring a holistic approach to health management. The nurse performs a variety of medical procedures as ordered by physicians, such as EKGs, blood pressure monitoring, and more, utilizing a range of medical equipment proficiently. Challenges in this role include maintaining high accuracy in documentation and compliance with both state law and clinical policy. Collaboration is key; the RN works closely with physicians, other nurses, and clinical staff to streamline patient care and administrative processes. Daily responsibilities also extend to indirect care, such as managing supply inventories, scheduling procedures, and facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers.

In the Pulmonology Clinic at CRMC in Baxter, our nursing team plays a critical role in helping patients manage lung diseases and breathing disorders that impact daily life. From asthma and COPD to interstitial lung disease and post-COVID complications, we provide expert care, patient education, and hands-on support to improve respiratory function and overall well-being. Whether assisting with diagnostic testing, oxygen therapy management, or medication education, we help patients regain control of their respiratory health. Whether guiding someone through oxygen therapy adjustments, helping manage complex lung disease, or supporting a patient in their smoking cessation journey, your work will be a breath of fresh air for those who need it most. Education and Experience

Required

• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Minnesota RN license

Preferred

• Previous clinic nursing experience

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience as an RN. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
