Crosby-Ironton School District is seeking passionate, motivated educators to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are currently hiring a Elementary Teacher to serve students in grades K–6 primarily working with Title I Math and Reading.
Position Summary
Elementary Teachers are responsible for creating a positive, engaging learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. Candidates should demonstrate strong instructional practices, classroom management skills, and a commitment to student success.
Essential Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with district curriculum
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Assess student learning and use data to guide instruction
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
- Participate in professional development and school activities
- Support diverse learning needs and differentiated instruction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid MN teaching license in K-6 Elementary Education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to equity and student achievement
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required

- Experience with literacy and math intervention strategies
- Knowledge of classroom technology and instructional tools
