What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor (Public Housing/Affordable Housing) position at Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority?
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing direct oversight of the ongoing maintenance activities within a group of multiple housing properties. Provide technical direction for the Maintenance Program involving financial planning and monitor the maintenance operations for each housing property. Conduct quality assurance inspections on work assignments to ensure the maintenance program quality standards are upheld. Assist with all aspects of property performance including maintenance of physical building operations, budgeting, management performance and resident relations. Direct supervision of maintenance staff. The selected candidate will be passionate about the Authority’s mission and will strive to advance the mission, vision, and values to internal and external stakeholders.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent required. One (1) to Two (2) years' post-secondary coursework in one or more maintenance skills trades area is required.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of five years' experience in residential property maintenance; at least two (2) years’ supervisory experience.
OTHER: Possession of a valid Ohio Vehicle Operator’s license and insurability under CMHA standards.
