Certification/Licensure Required:

• Current Adolescence to Young Adults 7-12 License with an Integrated Science Teaching Field issued and recognized by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.

Preferences:

• Experience in a high school classroom environment in the content of physical science;
• Strong and sufficient competencies in instructional content, technology, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for the learning process and the nature and growth of children;
• Ability to adapt knowledge of educational methodology and variety of instructional techniques for the benefit of students in the learning environment; competence in the structure and content of the subject area;
• Ability to communicate with students and caregivers in the appropriate manner;
• Ability to work collaboratively and productively with other staff members, students, and administration;
• Successful completion of a BCI and FBI background check as well as a drug screen.
