Job Description:

Summary

Sustains nude and clothed professional portrait poses for art students to observe anatomy and structure to compose artistic drawings and/or paintings.

Essential Functions

• Sustains a variety of both clothed and nude poses for art students
• Adapts to a range of portrait poses and instructor direction
• Professionally and appropriately interacts with students
• Performs other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  
  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS And ABILITIES

• Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Possess basic knowledge of fundamental artistic modeling concepts, practices and procedures with the ability to apply in varied
• situations as it pertains to the departmental focus
• Ability to appropriately, sensitively, and professionally interact with instructors and students
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings as needed
• Possess sensitivity to appropriately respond to the needs of the community

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• The work is performed in a classroom studio environment.
• The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.
• Typically, the employee will be required to sustain seated, standing and reclining poses for long periods of time.
• Typically, the employee will be required to perform and sustain quick, energetic poses.
• Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
  
  

Special Note: This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $14.00/ hour.

If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure .
