Position: Welder / Fitter (Full-Time)1st or 2nd Shift
We are seeking experienced, dependable welders and fitters who enjoy fast-paced shop work and can fabricate accurately from stair and rail blueprints. If you want to work with modern equipment inside a clean and organized fabrication shop—this is it.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and dimensions
- Fabricate stairs, rails, and miscellaneous metals to spec
- Follow approved welding procedures for each job
- Maintain quality standards for both accuracy and throughput
- Apply shop safety protocols at all times
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude with teammates, vendors, and customers
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shop Foreman or Production Manager
Note: We do not install or perform field work — all work is completed in-house.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Experience: 3 years welding, fabrication, mechanical, machining, or related experience
- Technical Skills:
✔ Able to review prints and follow instructions
✔ Able to calculate rise/run angles & basic geometry
✔ Knowledge of MIG welding (certifications preferred)
✔ Familiar with cutting (Band Saw, Torch, Plasma, Shear)
✔ Familiar with notching, punching, press brake, rolling operations
✔ Comfortable working with carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum
✔ Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced fabrication environment
- Must supply a basic set of hand tools
Physical demands include standing for long periods, walking within the shop, bending, reaching, gripping, and using sight/hearing for safe operation. Reasonable accommodations may be available.
