Cutting Edge Fabrication is a leading metal fabrication company producing medium to large-complex metal weldments for various industries such as transportation, defense, and aerospace. Cutting Edge Fabrication seeks a highly motivated individual with press brake expertise. You will produce metal parts and components, meeting production schedules while maintaining quality and profitability. Responsibilities include problem-solving, accurate press brake forming, bump forming, bending, and rolling metal components to print specifications.
In this job, you will be responsible for the following:
- Set up brake press jobs.
- Edit and prove out programs.
- Produce parts to print specifications.
- Inspect parts using protractors, squares, tape measure, caliper, height gauges, etc.
- Participate in continuous improvement culture, including lean initiatives.
- Keep the department organized and clean for a safe working environment.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience working with various metals (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.).
- Shop math knowledge.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Able to read a tape measure and use other measuring devices.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience.
- Must have good attendance and be on time.
- Embrace and demonstrate company values.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
