What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Machine Operator position at Cutters, Inc.?
Cutters, Inc. serves the Pacific Northwest in laser cutting, waterjet cutting and press brake forming. Using state of the art CNC machinery we shape cut a wide range of materials including stainless steel, mild and hardened steels, aluminum and plastics. We cut material up to 6" thick and can achieve cutting speeds up to 3,300 in/min.
We have an immediate opening for a laser machine operator.
Laser Operator Duties
Loading/unloading machine including forklift operation
Machine operation and maintenance
Part quality check including use of calipers
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Previous cnc machine operation is preferred
Experience in manufacturing environment
Mechanically inclined
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Attention to detail and self-motivated
Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
