Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines and related systems using computerized and mechanical tools
- Repair and maintain diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and other components
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
- Troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members about vehicle conditions and repair needs
- Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours
- Stay up to date with the latest diesel technology and repair techniques
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines and related systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certification in Diesel Engines (preferred)
- Familiarity with various brands of diesel engines and vehicles
