Duties

• Safely cut, split, stack, and load firewood using manual tools and power equipment while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Operate power tools such as chainsaws, log splitters, and other machinery with precision and care.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and workplace safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Implement proper respiratory protection measures when handling dust or airborne particles during cutting or splitting activities.

Experience

• Prior experience in industrial construction or outdoor manual labor is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance will support your success in this role.
• Demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety regulations is essential.
