We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Framing Siding Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute siding and framing installations.
- Install various siding materials including metal roofing, stucco, vinyl siding, and single-ply membrane roofing with precision and attention to detail.
- Construct framing structures using metal studs, wood, or concrete forms in accordance with safety protocols and project specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, fastening, and finishing siding components.
- Ensure adherence to construction safety regulations by properly using safety harnesses, ladders, scaffolding, and other safety equipment during outdoor work.
- Perform roofing repairs and restoration tasks as needed to maintain building integrity.
- Follow construction plans meticulously while maintaining a clean and organized worksite; collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing materials such as metal panels, trusses, or masonry components.
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, welding, tile laying, or masonry skills when required to complete projects seamlessly.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation or framing work in residential or commercial settings.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with roofing repair—including metal roofing—and single-ply membrane roofing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including proper use of safety harnesses and ladder use protocols.
- Skilled in operating hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills; power tools including nail guns and grinders; fabrication equipment; welding tools; and masonry tools.
- Outdoor work experience is essential; ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently.
- Additional skills such as plumbing, remodeling, carpentry (including trim carpentry), restoration work, or handyman experience are advantageous for versatile project support.
