Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Entry Specialist to join our team. This role involves accurately inputting and managing customer orders within our database systems, ensuring seamless processing and communication across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and excellent organizational abilities to support efficient order management and data accuracy.

Duties

• Enter customer orders into databases and systems with precision and attention to detail
• Verify order information for accuracy, including quantities, pricing, and delivery details
• Maintain and update electronic and paper files, records, and documentation related to orders
• Collaborate with sales, inventory, and shipping teams to coordinate order fulfillment
• Manage returns, missing packages, question and problems with orders.
• Clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and responding to customer emails.
• Ensure timely processing of orders while adhering to company policies and procedures
• Updating pricing and availability of items.

Skills

• Proficiency in using databases.
• Strong typing skills with high accuracy; experience in data entry and transcription
• Knowledge of basic math for verifying quantities and calculations
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Previous office or clerical experience preferred, including filing and data collection
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of order processing
• Good communication skills to coordinate effectively across departments and with customers
