Job Summary
Job Summary
Plans, organizes, manages and provides direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the District’s information technology department, including the District-wide information systems infrastructure, network administration, telecommunications and security systems; directs and administers the information technology support operations and activities of the District, which include installation, maintenance and upgrade of all network, telecommunications and computer infrastructure; coordinates assigned activities with other departments, officials, outside agencies and the public; fosters cooperative working relationships among District departments, with intergovernmental and regulatory agencies and various public and private groups; provides highly responsible and complex assistance to the Assistant Superintendent in coordination and administration of District-wide activities and operations; performs related work as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
-High School Diploma or equivalent -Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information technology, or a related field -Resume -Letter of Introduction -Three (3) Letters of Recommendation -Valid CA Driver's License -Five (5) years of experience developing and administering information technology systems, including supervisory experience. -CompTIA Network and Microsoft Certified Systems Associate (MCSA) certified preferred. -Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) preferred.
