Hours: Part-Time Clinician for Weekends, Flexible. 8 -20 hours.
(20 min. hours per week to be eligible for benefits).

Position Summary

Responsible for assessing providing therapeutic services to individual clients and families and case consultation with involved parties as part of a small collaborative outpatient clinic.

Essential Position Functions

  • Provide assessment, individual, family, and group therapy services to assigned caseload as needed.
  • Provide case consultation and case management services for clients. Regularly communicate with all involved parties and attend related case conference meetings.
  • Develop treatment plans for all assigned cases, and regularly maintain all required clinical records, and other paperwork in a timely manner including: initial treatment plan, progress notes, quarterly reports, and discharge summaries and other records as required by specific funding sources (ex: MassHealth). and refer for medication consultation as needed.
  • Conduct intake evaluations as assigned. Assess client risk (including self-harm/suicide), risk and need of mandated reporting suspicions of abuse/neglect to the Department of Children and Families. Provide court testimony as required.
  • Attend regularly clinical supervision; present and discuss at case conferences for review.
  • Participate in shared weekend on-call rotation.
  • Maintain licensure (as needed) and relevant requirements and keep on file with agency. Follow guidelines of licensing board.
  • Adhere to Cutchins Programs for Children and Families Rules, Standards, and Ethics Policy.
  • Adhere to Cutchins Programs for Children and Families Privacy Practices.

Minimum Requirements for the Position

Degree: M.S.W , M.Ed, Ed. D. Ph.D., Psy.D or similar degree

License /Certification: LICSW or LMHC licensure required.

Years and Type of Experience: Preferred 2 years post graduate experience

Other Skills or Requirements: Good verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative therapeutic approach, high quality clinical skills including trauma and attachment, driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: visual acuity to written and computer screen data, manual coordination and dexterity in the operation of office equipment, and ability to drive a car with an active drivers license.
