About the Role with the Fields Center:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic leadership team and provide direct clinical support within school settings. This role combines hands-on behavioral support for students with supervisory responsibility for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), offering the opportunity to shape both individual student outcomes and the broader culture of our behavioral services program.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented BCBA who thrives in a fast-paced educational environment and is passionate about improving outcomes for students with intensive behavioral and developmental needs.

Location: Various Public School Locations throughout Hampshire and Hampden County

Job Responsibilities

Clinical & Direct Service

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
  • Provide direct ABA services and consultation within classroom and school settings
  • Monitor student progress through ongoing data collection and analysis, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure consistency of behavioral strategies across settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to educational planning

Supervision & Team Leadership

  • Provide regular supervision, training, and mentorship to RBTs, ensuring fidelity of implementation and compliance with BACB supervision requirements
  • Conduct competency assessments and ongoing performance feedback for supervised staff
  • Support onboarding and training of new RBTs and behavioral staff
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture grounded in evidence-based practice

Leadership & Program Development

  • Serve as an active member of the clinical leadership team, contributing to program development, policy, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Help shape best practices and training protocols across school-based programs
  • Partner with school administrators and district staff to strengthen behavioral support systems school-wide
  • Stay current on research and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis, bringing new insights back to the team

Qualifications

  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Experience providing ABA services in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians
  • Strong understanding of special education law, IEP processes, and school-based service delivery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required due to the need to travel between school locations located in Hampshire and Hampden County.

Physical requirements:

Ability to participate in and effectively provide skilled interventions, strength, balance/equilibrium, ability to lift up to 25 lbs., visual and auditory acuity to supervise staff and to provide direct services to clients.

Pay: $82,400.00 - $98,800.00 per year
