Our restaurant brands include JAMS | American Grill, Mouth of the South, Paradise Bakery, Oklahoma Joes, and more. 

Role Description 

  • Manage Accounts Receivable | Manage accounts receivable, including interaction with lessees on payments
  • Manage Accounts Payable | Manage accounts payable, including coordination with property manager on expenses and related approvals
  • Prepare Monthly Financial Statements
  • Prepare monthly financial statements by property
  • Analyze various transactions and identify appropriate accounting treatment 
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for each property
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements to the general ledger
  • Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Process cash receipts and prepare bank deposits 
  • Prepare common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations
  • Budget and Asset Analysis
  • Prepare annual budgets by property, including estimated CAMs
  • Analyze property performance and make recommendations to executives regarding each property
  • Assist CFO with Special Projects and Other Tasks as Assigned

    Physical and Occupational Requirments:

    • Although the work is largely clerical, candidates must be able to occassionally lift and carry at least 25 pounds. Candidates must be able to kneel, stoop and bend frequently. 
    • Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be insurable.  
    • Candidates must be able to be trusted with cash, trade secrets and other valuable property and therefore must pass a background check and driver’s report.  

    Experience and Educational Requirements:

    • Five or more years of experience in real estate accounting
    • Understanding of accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning

    Time/Location Commitments:

    • This role is envisioned to be hourly, with weekly commitment ranging from 20-25 hours (negotiable based on candidate's needs)
    • This role is flexible on work schedule/hours
    • This role may be performed with as a hybrid remote/in-office (negotiable based on candidate's needs)
