Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscape Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist with various landscaping tasks, including lawn care, and landscape maintenance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture, landscape installation, and outdoor maintenance while contributing to visually stunning environments.
Duties
- Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive lawns
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, planting, mulching, and weed pulling.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery under for various landscaping projects
- Support hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls with proper use of tools and materials
- Conduct tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and assisting with repairs
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
- Experience or interest in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
- Ability to operate small machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques including tree trimming, mowing, and irrigation setup.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols and work efficiently outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to learn new skills related to construction and landscape care
- Prior experience is advantageous but not required
