In this energetic role, you’ll deliver expert haircuts, styling, and grooming services that leave clients looking and feeling their best. Your expertise will help build lasting relationships with clients while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and hair styling tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as straight razor shaves, hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
• Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering personalized recommendations on hair care, styling products, and retail options.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations, including proper sanitation of tools like scissors, clippers, and razors.
• Manage appointment scheduling using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Upsell retail products effectively through retail math skills while ensuring clients receive the best solutions for their hair care needs.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in cosmetology, barbering techniques, color theory, and client communication strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong background in barbering and hairstyling.
• Proficiency with salon management software such as squire platforms.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Skilled in various hair techniques including styling, coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading.
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and understand their grooming goals.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing consistent quality service.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
