Full Job Description:
- This position is responsible for various tasks listed as assigned as well as well as providing customers the required entry services such as:
- Verify and prepare entry documents for multiple regulatory agencies such as U.S. Customs & Border Protection, FDA, and EPA.
- Communicate with clients on shipment status and other shipment related questions.
-Serves as primary link between Customs Cleared customers to communicate reporting finding as it pertains to audits, abi warnings, activities, and various CBP related responses
- Correspond in writing, telephone, or video meetings to the shippers, clients, customs, or other governmental agencies to resolve issues.
- Research and write claims and protest to CBP on behalf of customers to resolve issues related to the payment of duties, taxes and valuation.
- Generate invoicing and billing to clients.
- Ensure regulatory and internal compliance standards are maintained
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma (college degree preferred)
- 2 years of related experience
- Broad customs brokerage knowledge of the tariff schedule, import procedures, and oga regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well and effectively with other staff members and maintain accuracy while working within timelines
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.75 - $25.75 per hour
